Denise Welch has put an end to ongoing speculation about behind-the-scenes feuds among the Loose Women panel, 

insisting that the ITV stars all get along well despite their on-screen clashes. 

The 66-year-old actress addressed the rumors during an appearance on This Morning, 

where she discussed the dynamic between her co-stars and set the record straight on claims of tension within the group.

Addressing the Feud Speculation

Denise appeared on This Morning alongside fellow Loose Women star Jane Moore to promote their new podcast. 

While discussing their ability to delve deeper into discussions through the audio platform, 

presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley steered the conversation toward the rumored conflicts among the Loose Women panel.

Cat acknowledged how well the women seem to get along, despite often having heated debates live on air. “As a woman watching that show, I love it that you can really disagree and then you’re the best of mates,” she remarked.

Denise was quick to set the record straight, shutting down any suggestion of lingering hostility. “We never even talk about it off stage, no!” she interjected, making it clear that their discussions and disagreements are left at the table once filming ends.

Jane backed her up, adding that any minor disagreements they have often become exaggerated in the media. “It always ends up on the front page of a magazine,” she noted.

Denise Dismisses Claims of a ‘Toxic’ Environment

Denise, who has been part of Loose Women for years, expressed her frustration over the persistent narrative of feuds among the panel. The former Coronation Street actress, who turns 67 this year, firmly denied that any of her co-stars would put themselves in a toxic work environment.

“It’s so ridiculous! I’m 67 this year. If you think I would voluntarily come into a job with a toxic environment, I wouldn’t!” she declared. “I don’t have to, and I wouldn’t!”

She pointed out that while the panelists engage in passionate discussions, they do not hold grudges once the cameras stop rolling. “We have never had a row in all the years that we’ve worked!” she insisted.

Denise recalled the fiery debates she used to have with former co-star Carol McGiffin, noting that despite their heated exchanges on television, their friendship remained intact. “Me and Carol McGiffin used to have some hong dingers on there, but we never talked about it when we got off stage,” she explained.

She also highlighted a common issue in the entertainment industry, where women are often pitted against each other in ways that men are not. “People like to pit women against each other,” she remarked, addressing the unnecessary drama that is often created around female-led talk shows.
