Coleen Rooney gets emotional, requesting BBC executives for an opportunity to return on I’m A Celeb, recognizing the repercussions she will have to deal with.

Coleen Rooney delighted fans over the weekend as she reunited with fellow I’m A Celebrity campmate Alan Halsall.

The two struck up a close friendship during their time on the reality show and took the opportunity to catch up, this time with their families in tow.

The 38-year-old media personality, who became a fan favorite during the last season of the hit ITV reality series, shared a glimpse of their gathering on Instagram.

The special reunion featured not just the two stars but also their loved ones, making for a heartwarming moment outside of the jungle setting.

A Family-Filled Get-Together

The Croxteth-born star was joined by her parents, Tony and Colette McLoughlin, along with her two youngest children, Kit and Cass.

Meanwhile, Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall attended the gathering with his daughter, Sienna Rae, whom he shares with ex-partner Lucy Jo Hudson. The actor, best known for portraying Tyrone Dobbs in the long-running soap, reshared the cheerful snap on his social media, expressing his joy at reconnecting with Coleen and her family.

Coleen captioned the reunion post: “Lovely catch-up with Alan Halsall and the gang. Tony’s getting the cosmos in next time.” Alan, in turn, responded with excitement, stating, “I can’t wait, Tony. Good times, great food, amazing friends.”

From Jungle Trials to TV Cameos?

Alan and Coleen’s strong friendship was one of the highlights of their time on I’m A Celebrity. The pair shared several memorable moments, including their lighthearted banter over the number of stars they won in a Bushtucker trial. Their camaraderie led to Alan playfully suggesting that Coleen should try her hand at acting, even offering to help her secure a role on Coronation Street.

“I’ll be getting you a job in Coronation Street before you know it,” Alan joked during the show. “She’ll be the barmaid of the Rovers Return before you know it!”

Coleen later confirmed in an interview with the Daily Star that Alan is still keen to see her on the set of the beloved soap. “Alan is trying to get me behind the bar in Coronation Street,” she revealed. “I loved performing arts and acting when I was younger. I always went to drama classes.”

However, despite her interest in the craft, Coleen admitted that stepping into acting at this stage of her life could prove challenging. “I feel like it would be hard to get into the industry. People see me as me, especially after I’m A Celebrity. If I did a role, I think it would be hard for people to see me as the character.”

A Busy Year for Coleen Rooney

Since finishing as the runner-up on I’m A Celebrity, Coleen Rooney has embraced the spotlight like never before. Her profile has risen significantly following her high-profile legal battle with Rebekah Vardy, known as the ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial. With the court ruling in her favor, stating her claims were “substantially true,” Coleen has taken the opportunity to branch out into multiple ventures.

In the past few months alone, she has released a Disney+ documentary detailing her life, launched her autobiography, and stepped into the health and wellness industry with a new range in collaboration with Applied Nutrition. Speaking at the launch event in Liverpool ONE earlier this year, Coleen described her renewed presence in the public eye as a natural progression.

A Bright Future Ahead

With her career taking an exciting turn, Coleen Rooney continues to make waves in the entertainment world. Whether or not she takes Alan Halsall up on his offer to appear in Coronation Street remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain—her return to the spotlight is proving to be a success.

Fans of both stars were thrilled to see them reunite outside of the jungle, with many expressing their joy in the comments of their social media posts. As Coleen and Alan continue to enjoy their strong friendship beyond I’m A Celebrity, their lighthearted bond remains a fan-favorite aspect of the show.

As Coleen embraces new ventures and continues to captivate audiences, whether through television or business, it’s clear she’s making the most of this exciting chapter in her life.
